I have put off the update of the Community Resoure & Learning Room blog for a long time. My friends Alain and Tricia, computer/communication professionals and volunteers with my Program, are helping me set up a new web site for our more fixed and static service information. This development pushed me into revising our blog and I am now looking at introducing many of the tools and learnings that I have picked up from the great edubloggers that I follow.
This title is only a draft but it will do for our planning purposes. We held a meeting of a new sub committee that will organize this new program development area. We have worked on this area for some time through our podcasts and poetry uploads, however at this time we see the potential to enhance our creativity and expand this program.

The sub committee is made up of a member of our Youth Advisory Committee and some new volunteer members. Zach, Matt, Melissa and Meghan are the key youth (students) who are taking on leadership responsibilities.

Teen Culture – trends, attitudes, sub cultures, harmony
Teacher view points – why teaching, challenges, weaknesses, changes ahead
Students & Work – challenges, downside, pressures, money
Student life – struggles with poverty & homelessness
